Carol Massoud

With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate management, Carol Massoud entered the professional arena in the mid-1980s following the completion of her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth. Serving as a Property Manager for Montreal-based Societé Globale de Construction, Massoud moved on to accept a similar post within the Real Estate Division of leading transportation company CN. Part of a redevelopment team tasked with revitalizing retail business in Montreal’s Central Station, Carol Massoud oversaw both commercial and semi-industrial properties and supervised leasing activities for several indoor and outdoor parking facilities and 2,500 independently operated vendor stalls.

Ready to pursue new career challenges after five years with CN, Carol Massoud earned certification as a Licensed Real Estate Agent and obtained a position with Sigma Property Management in Montreal. Maintaining responsibility for analyzing investment opportunities and ensuring the successful implementation of an extensive variety of real estate projects, she helped create a new retail concept in the city’s downtown core that remains a thriving enterprise to this day. Massoud left Sigma in 1999 when Sun Life Real Estate offered her a six-month contract to develop short-term and long-term strategies to grow a portfolio of assets in Eastern Canada.

From 2000 to 2004, Massoud applied her skills as Director of Development and Operations at VINCI Park Canada, where she spearheaded acquisitions and expansion across numerous platforms. The organization enjoyed notable growth during Massoud’s tenure and garnered distinction as North America’s leading parking services provider. Before departing from VINCI Park to step in as Director of Leasing and Property Management at ING Real Estate, a role she held from 2004 to 2010, Carol Massoud opted to undertake additional academic training and enrolled in the Executive program at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business. She received a Master’s in Business Administration in 2003.

Carol Massoud presently functions as Vice President of Development at Maestri Terra Inc., a prominent Canadian realty firm. Outside of her professional endeavors, Massoud derives much personal satisfaction from mountain climbing. A seasoned mountaineer, she achieved an impressive feat in February 2011 by hiking Mount Kilimanjaro.
